Part 1: Privacy Policy

MewAI ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

• Facial Data & Images: To provide face analysis, scores, and coaching insights, the app processes photos you take or upload. See Section 2 ("Face Data") for full details.
• Questionnaire & Profile Data: Answers you provide during onboarding (such as age range, gender, skin type, lifestyle habits, and goals), used to personalize your plan.
• Account Information: When you sign up using Email, Google, or Apple Sign-In, we collect your email address and a basic profile identifier to manage your account.
• Payment Data: All financial transactions, subscriptions, and purchases are processed securely via RevenueCat and your device's official app store (Google Play Store / Apple App Store). We do not collect or store your credit card details.
• Usage & Diagnostics Data: We collect anonymous-style product usage events (via PostHog) and crash/performance reports (via Sentry) to keep the app stable and improve features.

2. Face Data

2.1 What we collect. When you take a scan, MewAI collects the selfie photograph you provide and derives numeric facial metrics from it (symmetry, jawline definition, skin clarity, and overall harmony — each a 0–100 score). MewAI does not create biometric identification templates ("faceprints") and cannot use your photo or metrics to identify you.

2.2 How we use it. Your photo and derived metrics are used solely to calculate your scores and to generate your personalized self-improvement plan. We never use face data for advertising, we never sell it, and we never use it to train AI models.

2.3 Third-party processing. To generate your results, your photo is transmitted securely to Face++ (Megvii Inc.) for facial measurement, and your derived numeric metrics and questionnaire answers (never your photo) are sent to Anthropic (Claude AI) to generate your plan text. Both providers act as data processors, are bound by their own privacy policies and data-processing terms, and provide protections equal to those described in this policy. We ask for your explicit consent in the app before any face data is transmitted.

2.4 Storage. If you create an account, your photo is stored in a private, access-controlled cloud storage bucket (Supabase) linked to your account, and your metrics are stored in our database. For anonymous scans (before you create an account), your photo is processed transiently and is not retained on our servers; results are saved only on your device.

2.5 Retention and deletion. Face data is retained only for as long as your account exists. Deleting your account (Settings → Delete Account) permanently and irreversibly erases your photos, metrics, and all derived data from our servers. You may also contact us at any time to request deletion.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data strictly to:

• Generate your facial analysis reports and track your glow-up routine.
• Personalize your improvement plan and AI coach responses.
• Authenticate your account and sync your premium subscription status across devices.
